Forrest River has done it again in creating a MacDaddy pontoon that is sure to turn some heads regardless of your waterway of choice. The 25RFX STS 3.0+ is more than just a mouthful. She sits at a length of 25’ 10” with a bow width of 8’ 6”.

Berkshire’s 25RFX series holds up to 13 people or 1900lbs with a maximum weight of 2920lbs which includes, motor, gear, and people. This boat has a dry weight of 2810lbs. Berkshire left no stone unturned creating a pontoon that is capable of housing up to a 450hp engine, which could make you possibly the fastest thing on three toons on the lake. Although, considering, efficiency, economics, and feel, a 250hp to 300hp would be plenty of muscle to move you as fast as you want to go.

Exterior

The “black out” trim package includes:

black anodized rails
black anodized Bimini top frame
black rail spacers
black pinch guards
black door stops
black rail plugs
black anodized deck trim
black spice covers
black rub rails
black corner pads
black snap screws
black table leg and base

You have the option of up to 14 different color packages, for the top and bottom rail that are separately customizable. Adding 12 additional colors for a customizable rail stripe, you have potentials of over 2,352 different color combinations. “latte standard” and “smoke standard” are your default flooring packages, however, there are 10 possible flooring packages you may add, each with an associated upgrade cost.

No more fumbling with the Bimini because the 25RFX STS 3.0+ comes with a powered double Bimini top with black canvas. You also have the option of 2 different ski bars, “Sport Ski Tow Bar” and “SS Ski Tow Bar.”

Interior

Looking at the interior of the boat, you’ll be ready for one big party on the lake with plenty of room for those red solo cups. This Berkshire is equipped with:

28 cupholders
The interior of the boat has 9 “base colors” and 14 “accent colors” to choose from.
Wet Sounds stereo system upgrade including 4, 8” speakers, bow and stern, as well as a 10” subwoofer built into the helm console

Controlling the stereo is very easy with controls built into the helm and stern. At the helm is:

a wireless phone charger
dash switches
USB and aux 3.5mm headphone port
12v cigarette lighter style port
side mounted throttle with trim switch
7” Simrad screen
glovebox for holding essentials
3 gauges (tachometer, speedometer, and trim)
two captain’s chairs that swing 180^o with height adjustment levers.

Boating at night just got a whole lot cooler with RGB LED lighting throughout the boat. The cupholders, floor, table, seat base, under deck, and exterior rails all have the option for this illuminating upgrade. The LED upgrade wouldn’t be complete without a sleek way of controlling them, and Berkshire didn’t leave you wanting. On the helm there is an intuitive dash toggle switch that allows you to cycle through RGB colors and modes.

Storage

Going boating with nowhere to store all the lifejackets, ski gear, and snacks you’ve brought aboard wouldn’t be nearly as fun as it could be, so good thing the team at Berkshire thought ahead for you. You have plenty of storage:

in the bow under each seat
inside the helm console
the stern seat backs flip up to reveal storage underneath
under the stern seats has some storage
If you’re a skier, Berkshire has made an in-floor storage compartment measuring up to 79” in length and 24” in width.

Trailer

Here at Anderson Marine, we always price our pontoons as packages with trailer and motor but can always be purchased as separate entities if need be. The trailer is a 26’ Marine Masters Trailer with:

5480lbs of maximum weight
a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 7000lbs.
bow steps
14” wheels on dual axles
disc brakes
brake and back up lights
an 1800lb capacity Fulton Trailer Winch.
